Thesis subject: Social Cognition and Loneliness in Young Adults

Hi ! I am a beginner researcher currently working in the field of social cognition, I have always been curious about many topics in neuropsychology and cognitive science. The simplest things of the human mind always left me awestruck, this is why working in a more complex system with many links is so thrilling. Finding meaning in what I do is also something important to me, putting the discovered knowledge forward to understand and help as many people as I can is what I strive to do. 

Thesis subject: Wisdom and Moral Judgements

"Be curious, not judgmental” is the quiet thread that guides my approach to research and life. Through my clinical experience with individuals facing moral-cognitive difficulties, and through teaching forensic psychology, I became interested in why people can face the same moral situation yet arrive at very different conclusions. For me, what is most fascinating is the pause before judgment: the space where wisdom might begin, where we wonder before deciding, listen before labelling, and try to understand before judging. My PhD research explores how wisdom shapes moral judgment, how we reason about right and wrong, and what it truly means to be “wise” in the face of moral complexity. Looking ahead, I hope to examine whether wisdom shapes moral reasoning in similar or different ways across different cultures.  

Thesis subject: Social impact of Socio-Cognitive dysfunctions in neurodegeneration

I am a first-year PhD candidate at UCLouvain, conducting innovative research on socio-cognitive dysfunctions in neurodegenerative diseases. My work integrates clinical neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, and computational modeling, combining rigorous data analysis with practical applications to support patients’ daily functioning.

I collaborate with international clinical sites, including KU Leuven and Saint-Luc University Hospital, contributing to cross-disease projects and multi-site data collection.

Passionate about translational neuroscience, I focus on turning complex cognitive and social data into actionable insights, designing innovative measures and interventions to enhance autonomy, social engagement, and quality of life for people with neurological conditions.
